From 26 to 28 December 2025, music, tradition and beauty come together in Paganico Sabino, Castel di Tora and Collalto Sabino.
The Turano Valley comes alive once again with a rich calendar of musical events. From 26 to 28 December 2025, the Borghi del Turano will host a series of concerts dedicated to the Christmas season.
This initiative is part of the project “Borghi Uniti per la Rigenerazione Culturale e Sociale della Valle del Turano”, which places culture at the centre as a catalyst for community engagement, participation and the enhancement of the local territory.
26 December – Paganico Sabino
Christmas Concert with the Talenti d’Arte String Orchestra and Maestro Emanuele Stracchi
In the evocative Church of San Nicola, the Talenti d’Arte String Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Emanuele Stracchi, opens the concert series with a program that blends Mozart, new compositions and iconic film soundtracks.
Among the highlights are Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K. 525, the world premiere of Stracchi’s Adagio sopra un canto gregoriano, and a selection of orchestral arrangements inspired by film music.
27 December – Castel di Tora
Christmas Choral Concert with the Eos Choir and the Musicanova Choir
The Church of San Giovanni hosts two of the most renowned Italian vocal ensembles.
The Eos Female Choir and the Musicanova Choir, led by Maestro Fabrizio Barchi with pianist Mario Madonna, will present a repertoire ranging from Renaissance music to contemporary works, concluding with a selection of celebrated choral pieces.
27 December – Collalto Sabino
Christmas Concert with the Gruppo Ottoni Sabino
The series concludes in the hamlet of Ricetto, at the Church of Sant’Andrea, with the vibrant energy of the Gruppo Ottoni Sabino.
The ensemble presents an engaging program that alternates classical pieces, film scores and modern arrangements, highlighting the expressive power and charm of brass instruments.
Music, community and territory
Each event is designed not only to enhance the historical churches and unique spaces of the borghi, but also to strengthen the bond between art and community.
The program reflects the intent to make culture a driving force for social regeneration, reinforcing local identity and offering both residents and visitors meaningful shared experiences.
The initiative is promoted by Borghi Uniti per la Rigenerazione Culturale e Sociale della Valle del Turano, in collaboration with the Municipalities of Paganico Sabino, Castel di Tora and Collalto Sabino, as well as local associations and artistic partners.
